I am Tha BossMack Topsoil, Philosopher, Suzerain & Raconteur. Focused on learning and living tha Happiest Life possible. I design clothing, I Write and at times I find myself pontificating about tha Esoterics of tha Mack Game to ears and eyes whom may or may not have any interest at all in what I’m saying. Oh, I also Live my life by an unusual code of ethics that exist inside my mind and maintain a Despotic Meritocracy over tha Bitches in my life, Macking is what they call it.

Electric Oceans D&A You motivated me to start my t-shirt line business. What got you into the business and how is it currently treating you??
Tha Bossmack Topsoil I wanted to make money from tha readers of my blog so I thought I should brand myself some type a way and sell merchandise. I developed a logo and once I made my first T-Shirts and sold a few I found myself wanting to compete with tha Big Boys (Obey, Crooks & Castles, The Hundreds etc.) which I know is crazy, but you gotta aim high. So I stepped my game up, Learned more about tha Game (Clothing Game) and kept pushing forward.
Things are looking good, I got a few Big thangs about to pop but I don’t wanna say shit yet and that shit don’t happen. If this shit that I working on goes down, I think BossMack Streetwear might really be on tha Map Huge. Pray for a Nigga.
Electric Oceans D&A Being that I am an avid reader of the blog, I read that you run a lot. What got you into running?
Tha BossMack Topsoil I guess I have always been into working out, But I never wanted to be Buff as Fuck, you know what I mean? I always envisioned myself as “Skinny Pimping” I don’t know where I got that shit from, that is something that has always been with me. So in college I was on tha Track Team, I ran tha 400 Meter Hurdles, I was wack as fuck, but I liked my track coach, he was cool white dude and he was in hella shape. He looked young as fuck but he was in his late 40′s, I asked how he did that, he said “Running”
I started running one block at a time until I got up to 5 miles, once I hit 5 Miles I got board doing that so Investigated Marathons. I ran my first L.A. Marathon in 2001, I had never ran more than five miles, My body froze at mile 18, I has hella pissed and disappointed, My Bitch had to come and get me in Hollywood I could barely walk, tha Marathon had started in downtown L.A.
I trained harder, came back later on that year and ran tha Long Beach Marathon and finished that one. I think I have run in 14 Marathons since.
Running for me is an addiction, If I don’t run a significant amount of miles every few days I’ll have withdrawal symptoms like a person trying to quit using heroine or some shit. It’s what you call a “Positive Addition” because tha results of my addiction is Good Health. There is nothing greater for me than running 13 to 15 miles and following that up with a Kush blunt, I cannot explain tha feeling of this in words, you would have to experience it to know.
Electric Oceans D&A Now it seems a lot of guys call themselves Macks, but the females aren’t checking anything in and these men are concerned with looks. Now I know what a Mack is. But what is a seasoned player such as yourself definition of Macking? Do you also think that authors, speakers and etc have gotten away from the origins of macking?
Tha BossMack Topsoil I see my Self as a Sun with Planets, Or a Lion on tha Serengeti with his Bitches and Kids, Or a Silver Back Gorilla in tha Congo deep in tha jungle of course, with His Bitches and kids. In my world I have always seen Niggas like my Grand Father have multitudes of Bitches loving him and worshiping him, I was one of tha little cubs in his huge pride checking him out.
Macking to me is an observance of rules and regulations lived by a Nigga that automatically creates with any bitch he deals with a relationship where she wants to provide oblation without sex. I would go as far to say that Macking was tha Life of a Philosopher, a Life where discipline and restraint make my contemporaries few.
As far as all of tha individuals that claim to be Macks and make money selling game and what not, I can’t hate on any of that. Niggas is making money and getting paid. Now do I agree with their principles and Ideas? I am afraid not and that’s not saying they are completely wrong either, for I myself am in ignorance; I know that I don’t know everything and I am learning new things every day.
Electric Oceans D&A And what current projects are you working on? What can we expect from you in the near future? And where can we purchase your clothing and etc??
Tha BossMack Topsoil I am working on my first book “Tha 13 Laws of Tha BossMack Topsoil” then I’m going to follow that up with a collection of short stories. Next year I wanna get a Novel out there also. We are also about to drop some new designs at BossMack Streetwear that I’m real exacted about, some new collaborations with a new artist.
Oh and we might shoot a Live version of BossMacknosis Live kinda like some Jimmy Kimmel Shit, we working on that.
